Coho are a very popular sport fish in Puget Sound. This species uses coastal streams and tributaries, and is often present in small neighborhood streams.
Pink Salmon is the smallest and most abundant of the five wild salmon species. Pink Salmon are referred to as humpbacks because male Pinks have a pronounced hump at breeding time.
Chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) have the widest distribution of any of the Pacific Salmon.
With it’s pointy head, well developed teeth and silver sides the Atlantic Salmon is easily recognizable.
