• GNP appointed North American sales agents for Beothic Fish Processors. In March 1998, Great Northern Products and Beothic Fish Processors of Valleyfield, Newfoundland, Canada signed a long term marketing agreement covering sales of all groundfish into the North American market.
  All sales of codfish, turbot, flounder and other groundfish of fish woll be handled through GNP´s office in Rhode Island.
  With this arrangement, Beothic´s Sealicious brand of premium seafood will be able to be further penetrated into market areas not previously serviced. We welcome Beothic to our roster of quality processors, and we welcome our visitor to visit the Beothic page on this web site.
  
  
• GNP re-engineers its systems. Due to increased volumes of product being offered to and traded by the Domestic fresh and frozen departments, and the expansion of the International Sales effort, we have increased our communication capacity with our customers, streamlined our computerized order tracking system, and are fully HACCP certified.
