Since our partners are either proud independent family owned operations or boat owner cooperatives with 10 to
100 vessels each, quality
goes in before the brand goes on! The seafood's come from local inshore dayboat fisheries; some products are harvested at sea by factory ship. In either case, the ultimate goal is to start with the freshest
raw materials, maintain the highest standards for quality control, and flash freeze (in some plants C02, NO2 tunnels) the processed seafood. A non-stop effort to "capture a moment in quality" goes into every pound processed!
Frozen seafood's are packed IQF, shatterpack, cello and block.
Inventories are consolidated in Boston area public cold storages for truckload and LTL distribution. All sales are handled through the Rhode Island marketing headquarters.
